Man Refuses To Give His Lamborghini To Starving Africans

Malibu, California – May 28, 2014

But the award ceremony took a turn from jubilant to awkward when 20 Pennzoil executives and support staff arrived at Mr. Gastin’s posh Malibu home to present him with the car.

Pennzoil Executive assistant, Sheila Jackson, who volunteers for Aid for Africa, stopped the happy moment just as a beaming Mr. Gastin was being handed the keys to his new prize, and asked, noting his 2013 Porsche Cayman GTS parked in the driveway, his 8,500 sq ft home and obviously opulent lifestyle, if he would be willing to sell the Lamborghini and donate the proceeds to Aid for Africa. She estimated his donation would save 5,000 lives.

Ms. Jackson reported that Mr. Gastin hesitated briefly and said, “No. I would not like to do that. No.”

He took the keys, and moments later, with the excited Pennzoil staff gathered around, revved the Lamborghini Aventador’s engine repeatedly screaming “F*ck Yeah!” He then plugged in his Ipod and blasted AC/DC’s Greatest Hits while the Pennzoil staff danced stiffly.

Ms. Jackson was later relieved of her duties.
