Bill Cosby Has Passed, Temple University Announces

PHILADELPHIA, PA –

Temple University announced that Bill Cosby has passed. He passed peacefully after a phone call with the university president, stating that he couldn’t go on, he had to resign. He had been a longtime member of the Board of Directors at Temple and resigned effective immediately, passing up the opportunity to continue serving on the board.

“We are saddened by the loss,” Temple University president Bob Washington said. “He was a good man and did a lot for this university. He will forever be a part of it and us. We will miss Bill Cosby.”

“It was sad to see Bill go,” a noted Temple alumnus said. “He did so much for our University and the world. But obviously the allegations against him had been stressful and his heart just gave out. He couldn’t go on.”

Temple University is planning a private celebration of life for Mr. Cosby to show all that he has contributed to the school over the years.
