Creationist Says Aliens Going To Hell

Creationist Ken Ham has said that the U.S. space program should stop wasting money because any alien life they might find would be GOING TO HELL ANYWAY.

“I’m shocked at the countless hundreds of millions of dollars that have been spent over the years in the desperate search for extraterrestrial life,” Ham wrote in a Sunday column on his Answers in Genesis website. “Secularists are desperate to find life in outer space as part of their rebellion against God in a desperate attempt to supposedly prove evolution.”

Ham went on:

“You see, the Bible makes it clear that Adam’s sin affected the whole universe. This means that any aliens would also be affected by Adam’s sin, but because they are not Adam’s descendants, they can’t have salvation,” he explained. “Jesus did not become the ‘GodKlingon’ or the ‘GodMartian’! Only descendants of Adam can be saved. God’s Son remains the ‘Godman’ as our Savior.”

Ham was asked what he’d do if intelligent life was found:

“Everything I’ve seen in the movies is that aliens don’t like people. They want to kill us all and take our planet. I would pray for the angels of heaven to rain down and smite the aliens to death before they could kill us humans. There is no way an alien race could beat angels in a fight. No way.”

And if the aliens did defeat the angels?

“Not going to happen,” Ham said. “God cannot be defeated therefore His angels could not be defeated.”

Friendly Atheist blogger Hemant Mehta called Ham’s quest to end the space program “a new low even for him.”

“He’s talking about aliens fighting angels and ending the space program and aliens going to hell. This is a new low for even Ham. Why doesn’t his god just kill the aliens and not allow this potential alien/angel war to transpire? Why doesn’t god stop the space program himself?”
