In a video uploaded to YouTube, resident Brian Miner is pulled over by Illinois state trooper because Miner honked his horn at the officer allegedly because the officer was speeding while yapping on his cellphone.

“You tried to pull me over with your horn, not sure what that was about,” the unidentified officer said.

“Because you were speeding and had your cellphone in your hand,” Miner responded.

“Police officers can actually use technology when we’re driving,” the officer retorted.

The officer then asks Miner for his identification and says he’s going to issue a ticket for “unlawful use of horn.”

Then Miner tells the officer that he’s being recorded and the officer nervously backpedals and decides not to write him a ticket and then tries to buddy up with the truck driver. “Maybe I was driving too fast. We need to be looking out for each other out here,” the trooper said.
